EV Estimate Disclaimer & Service Addendum

1. Engineering Authority & Professional Use

EV Estimate is designed and built by BVE Labs, LLC. While our "Spec Engine" is built on high-precision logic and deep system engineering, it is provided as a professional aid only.

• Not a Substitute for Licensure: This application is intended for use by licensed electrical professionals. It does not replace the professional judgment, on-site physical inspection, or local code verification required by law.
• Calculation Aid Status: All NEC 220.83 load calculations are provided for estimation purposes. The final responsibility for code compliance, safety, and permit accuracy rests solely with the user of EV Estimate.

2. AI Scanning & Data Verification

EV Estimate utilizes advanced AI-powered computer vision to identify panel breakers and electrical configurations.

• Verification Requirement: Users must manually verify all AI-detected values before finalizing a quote, permit application, or installation. BVE Labs does not guarantee 100% accuracy of automated scans and is not liable for errors resulting from unverified AI data. We are working hard to improve the accuracy of our AI scanning technology, and use models from industry leaders such as Microsoft, Open AI, or Anthropic, but it is not a substitute for professional judgment, as sometimes AI can make mistakes.
• Beta Design & Logic: As the application is in active development, visual designs and underlying calculation logic are subject to regular updates and refinement.

3. Code Compliance (NEC 2023)

Our engine is engineered to align with NEC 2023 standards. However, local jurisdictions may adopt different codes or specific amendments.

• Local Authority: It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the outputs of EV Estimate meet the specific requirements of the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

4. Financial Transactions (Stripe Integration)

EV Estimate provides optional integration with Stripe to facilitate customer deposits and invoice payments.

• Processor Status: BVE Labs is not a financial institution or a payment processor. All transactions are governed by your independent agreement with Stripe.
• Liability: BVE Labs is not responsible for financial disputes, chargebacks, or transaction errors occurring between the user and their end customers.

5. Pre-Release Pricing Notice

Pricing for EV Estimate is currently in a pre-release phase and is subject to change at the discretion of BVE Labs, LLC. All quotes and estimates provided through the platform are valid only under the terms stated at the time of the transaction.
